Shaping the Student Experience Digitally
As part of Birmingham City University’s content team, we created and delivered engaging digital content designed to attract prospective students and strengthen the university’s online presence. Our work focused on showcasing real student life in Birmingham, highlighting both the academic experience and the lifestyle that comes with studying in the city. Through strategic content creation and in-person engagement, we helped position the university as vibrant, welcoming and forward-thinking.

Increase student attraction through relatable digital content.
The university aimed to create authentic, engaging content that resonated with prospective students during the decision-making process. The focus was to showcase Birmingham as an exciting place to live and study, while strengthening the university’s digital presence across key platforms. The objective was not just visibility, but connection.


Execution
Multi-platform content creation and student-facing representation.
We filmed, edited and produced content for YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram Stories, ensuring each piece was optimised for its platform. The content highlighted student life, city experiences, campus culture and events. In addition to digital production, we represented the university at Open Days and recruitment events, engaging directly with prospective students and parents to bring the online brand experience into real-world conversations.

Strengthened engagement and enhanced student perception.
Through consistent, relatable storytelling, the content helped improve student engagement and reinforced the university’s reputation as dynamic and student-centred.
